Drainable. Cleanable. Unbeatable. That’s the innovative Opti-Clean™ Filter Housing from Allegheny Bradford Corporation. Its advanced technology and unique patented design practically eliminate hold-up volume and speed clean-up to make your entire processing environment more efficient – and more profitable.
The Opti-Clean™ Filter Housing is designed for maximum drainability. Unlike traditional housings with a collection chamber under a flat cartridge plate, Opti-Clean’s one-piece design eliminates the collection chamber and features an integrated sloped cartridge plate to aid in drainability. All the cartridge sockets drain to individually machined and sloped slots that lead directly to the central outlet port. The same integrated cartridge plate is sloped so that any unfiltered product drains out the inlet nozzle. The result is a faster, more efficient draining process, no spills or mess during disassembly and – most of all – greater output volume.
With Opti-Clean’s one-piece construction, cleaning is as complete as it is convenient. When the filter cartridges are removed, the entire interior is unobstructed and ready to CIP. Simply insert the multi-head "spraywand," designed and supplied especially for use with the Opti-Clean™. Its multi-directional coverage delivers complete cleaning of all interior surfaces and ensures that the entire housing, including each cartridge socket and drain bore is thoroughly cleaned to meet the stringent requirements of the most demanding ultra-pure applications.
With fewer parts and no cartridge plate, Opti-Clean™ is easier to maintain than conventional filter housings, and it reduces your need for spare inventory parts. Opti-Clean completely eliminates manual cleaning while it cuts product loss from hold-up volumes. Like all Allegheny Bradford equipment, Opti-Clean™ housings are manufactured of the finest materials and undergo rigorous testing and QA/QC documentation throughout the manufacturing process. To tailor Opti-Clean™ to your individual application requirements, we offer customization with a variety of surface finishes, socket configurations, and optional features including quick-release hand knobs that entirely eliminate the use of tools.
